1) Name of Job / Post - Staff Nurse Grade II
2) Department - Kerala Health Services
3) Age Limit – 20 to 35 years. Candidates born between 02 - 01 - 1975 and 01 – 01 - 1990 (both dates included) can apply for Staff Nurse in PSC post. Usual Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST and other backward communities.
4) Scale of Pay - Rs. 7480 - 11910/-
5) Qualification for the post of Staff Nurse Grade 2 -
a) A pass in Plus Two or Pre-degree (with Science Subjects) Course/Pass in VHSE
(with Science subjects)/ and VHSE in Domestic Nursing of a recognized University or its equivalent.
b) A Pass in B.SC Nursing of a recognized University or a pass in General Nursing and Midwifery Course having not less than 3 years duration from any institution recognized by Government.
c) Certificate of Registration with Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council as Nurse and Midwife, in the case of Women candidates and as Nurse in the case of male candidates.
Note - Physically Handicapped candidates (Orthopaedic-Lower extremities, partially deaf) are eligible for 3% appointment as per GO(P) No.11/2009/SWD dated, 10.2.2009.
